I only really started singing properly when nudged by a friend to join the Dundee University choirs, a Bach consort and St Mary’s church choir when I was nineteen. Twenty years on, it’s great to be back singing Bach. Prior to that I dabbled in school choirs and shows, spent some time treading the boards in musical theatre, and had a brief stint as a trombonist!
Outside of singing, I work as a consultant pathologist, do a bit of crafting, play piano and spend time with my young family, affectionately referred to as my Newtlets (Lego galore!).
My favourite thing about being part of The Project is the interesting alto parts - Bach really knew how to write them! Being part of this small, high quality and very friendly group is hugely enjoyable and rewarding.
